We need someone who has managed and worked within a busy restaurant environment.
We are looking for someone with excellent proven management skills in running a restaurant.
Experienced in running and managing a busy restaurant with excellent communication and customer skills.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Managing and overseeing the day to day responsibilities of the entire restaurant.
Thorough understand of food allergens and knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Management of monitoring health and safety throughout the restaurant.
Effective time management with managing the rota for all staff working within the restaurant.
Experience in on-boarding new people and creating a great place to work, always supporting and encouraging the team and ensuring tasks are managed.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in stock control and ordering food to ensure stock levels are in place, food is displayed accurately.
Demonstrates a friendly and positive attitude to staff and customers, confident in managing any difficult situation that may arise.
Multitasking and willing to jump in to any area as required.
Stocking and replenishing food and supplies, liaising with suppliers, the Food
Development manager and supervisors.
Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate required.
Experience and knowledge of PC Skills essential.

Marketing Assistant
The Ideal Candidate

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Visual Merchandiser who is passionate about delivering outstanding displays and layouts. This full-time role as part of a visual merchandising team is based across our two garden centres in Buckinghamshire.
You are creative, have a commercial visual merchandising eye and you are happy to work independently to deliver the brand vision. You will work closely with the directors and management team to boost the sales of
key products by creating and implementing unique ways to sell products via exceptional visual merchandising, experience in photography is an advantage.
Job Role and Function
Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.
Change displays to promote new product arrivals and reflect festive or seasonal themes.
Enhance the sales potential of our stores, by bringing new ideas through all aspects of visual merchandising (store environment, creative layouts).
Effectively plan any range moves within the store.
Feedback to buying team about best sellers and poor performing product lines.
Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends.
Leading by example to promote the highest standards of customer care and service at all times.
Work as a team player and enjoy helping your team-mates.
Take buying responsibility for categories of stock as required.
Build working relationships with directors and managers, based on openness and honesty.
Maintain strong communication with the warehouse team to ensure fast and efficient replenishment of stock.
Actively seeking new and improved ways of working simply and cost-efficiently.
Ensure that the retail team are trained in the stores merchandising standards
Identify slow selling and damaged items and take action to clear these within store asap.
Understanding and awareness of the competition and new creative VM development.
Manage your time through effective planning, organisation, and communication.
Work with the retail team to ensure that all stock is cared for responsibly and that indoor plants are watered regularly and rotated as required.
Undertaking Adhoc projects as required by Management and Directors
Experience
Previous experience in creative Visual Merchandising in retail an advantage!
Happy to work to own initiative, conceive ideas and translate those into actions.
Creative thinker, able to interpret VM brand guidelines and adapt them.
Highly organised with an analytical approach to problem-solving with a strong can-do attitude.
Confident, friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic.
Applicants must be physically fit and able to lift a wide range of Garden Centre products.
You will be passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
You will be obsessively organised, tidy and have an eye for detail.
